29th – Dec 4th ….We
drove through some fog, drizzle and wind on our 170 mile route from
Simi Valley to Indio – Indian Waters RV resort. Doug and Fran
stayed at Indian Well Carefree Resort on Jefferson/111.
On
Friday we met Danny & Lexi at Doug & Fran's for dinner. Mike
went with Ross in the am to the Q School golf round to watch Chad
Collins play.
Saturday
afternoon we met Bill & Gloria, Danny and Doug & Fran at the
Beerhunter to visit and watch the Bobcat football game. At 7p we
headed to Pioneer Town to Pappy and Harriet's for a late dinner.
There was a band playing that was good but a bit too loud to allow
for any visiting!
Sunday
was another day on the go....today's outing was to Aunt Marge's in
Riverside. Doug & Fran had never been to her condo. We had a
very nice time visiting with Marge and Don and enyoed a lovely chili
dinner. When we returned we found our friends from Edmonton – Glen
& Henrietta parked next to us. We had to go over and say hi &
visit for a bit.
Monday
was wash day and grocery shopping. In between Dixie cut Henrietta's
hair. That evening we all went to Bill & Gloria's for dinner and
to see their new motorhome – a Winnebago Tour. It was very nice
and roomy. Next stop on Tues., Dec 4th
is Yuma!
