Oregon here we come!

May 1-3....We are staying in a nice RV Park in Lakeside, OR, overlooking Tenmiile Lake. We have visited 3 Lighthouse in OR.- 2 on rivers where they meet the ocean and Heceta Lighthouse, which is on the Pacific Ocean and one of the most photographed. The Sea Lion Caves was the highlight today. We took an elevator down 200ft to a cave that opens up to the ocean. There were many, many Stellar Sea Lions on a hug rock in this cave. They are VERY loud - hence where they get their name "Lion". From the cave there was a lookout to the Heceta Lighthouse (one of the photo's attached). Once we got out we walked to a sea lion lookout where we saw at least a hundred sea lions beached and several others in the water. The first stop we made this morning was at a lookout just north of were we are staying - here we saw some migrating grey whales. We spent some time with the binoculars watching them blow and come up out of the water. Tomorrow is a day of rest!
