Moving On

On our last day at Lake Havasu City we spent the afternoon with family & friends on a Pontoon Boat on the "Lake" (it's a very large lake). We went through the Gorge where the scenery was beautiful. We saw some wild donkeys on a mountain overlooking the lake. We also made a couple of stops - at a Casino (just long enough for Mike to loose $20) and then at Topock for refreshments & a bite to eat. We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Havasu. We met many nice people and established friendships and will most likely return next winter!
On March 1 we were off again. We headed toward Las Vegas.... we made a quick stop at Hoover Dam, the Camping World (a toy store for RV's) in Henderson and then through Las Vegas to our destination of Pahrump, NV. It's in the mountains about 60 miles from Las Vegas. The view out our window is of snow caped mountains. We toured a Winery today which is at the RV park we are staying in (Charleston Peak). We are anxious to try out the resturant at the Winery but we are holding off for a few days.....we ate way too much while in Lake Havasu so we are on a diet!!!!! We hope to go to Death Valley in the next day or so and also hit a few golf balls.
