A day at the course - Palm Springs

Palm Springs here we come! We spent the day at the golf course, however we were not playing. We went to the Kraft Nabisco LPGA Pro/Am Tournament that is in town this week (Rancho Mirage). We followed Annika Sorenstam, Nancy Lopez and other pro golfers. We saw a few celebrities as well - Ben Roethlisberger- NFL Quarterback, Mary Hart -Entertainment Tonight & Alice Cooper- singer from the 70's/80's.... We went into the Souvenir tent and were looking at autographed framed photos and found that the person selling them was a classmate of Mikes' in Texarkana, TX in the late 50's. It truly is a small world. We had fun talking to him & hearing about all the players from the PGA & LPGA tour. We are going to dinner with him tomorrow at Arnold Palmers resturant so we can reminisce a little more. We are in a very nice RV Park & finally are enjoying some nice weather. Tomorrow we are off to practice our own golf swing!
P.S Mike's classmate got the autographed picture of Alice Cooper!!!
