We are now at our home in Lake Havasu City for the month of Feb. Dixie's parents and some friends spend the winter months here so we are enjoying spending time with them and meeting other new friends! Did you know that Lake Havasu City is the home of the original "London Bridge". It has been pretty windy since we got here so we haven't been out to get a good picture of the bridge yet. When we do, we will put a picture of the bride on the site. We made a day trip to Mexico yesterday to a little border town just out of Yuma. Dixie's dad and a friend went to the dentist down there so we made the trip with them. We even decided to have our teeth cleaned while we were there (at 1/2 the price we pay in the US). There are many, many dental offices in this town as well as optical places and pharmacy's. They sell USA prescription drugs without a prescription and at a lower price. Needless to say the place is packed with retired Americans! It took us at least a 1/2 hr to get across the border when we were ready to leave. You park on the US side and walk across. We are ready for the wind to quite blowing and the temp to rise! It's been in the mid 60's - it just doesn't feel like it with the wind!
