Washington Journey
May 13-25...Yes, we are a bit tardy on updating the blog- we have been busy with the grandkids! We had a good time at Ocean Shores on the WA coast. The kids waded in the water even though it was 50 something degrees outside and the wind was blowing. We had a nice campsite and had camp fires each nite - Mike had his "first" s'more! Can you believe that? On the 18th we moved to a park called Tall Chief out of Fall City, Wa. It's close to the family and we are nestled in the trees. We went to the Seattle Aquarium with the kids yesterday. They had fun touching the fish and seeing all the different kinds. The weather has been very raining but today it is beatiful and 80 degrees. We also had a wonderful brunch at the home of the Seattle Presidents Club Lead (Lily & her husband, Dave). It was great to catch up on everything and as always we enjoy visiting with other people....not that we are tired of each others company yet but.....well you get the picture! Speaking of pictures, our camera malfunctioned so we are waiting for HP to send us another one so no pictures for awhile. I do have a couple to put on today - one of the grandkids at the beach horseback riding and the other of Mike showing you what he is doing on retirement!!!! I will be going to California to my brothers for a week and then we will be heading east on Jun 5th, working our way to Montana.
