Dec 1-13 ...While in Casa Grande we have been pretty busy. The 2 weeks went by quickly.
Exchanged dinner's with our friends from Chicago as they were in the park the same time we were. We've spent some time with them watching football (they are avid Chicago Bears fans), playing cards and visiting!
Drove to Chandler (suburb of Phoenix) to meet a couple of classmates of mine (Duane/Jill and Diane). We had a wonderful dinner visiting and reminiscing.
I did a dozen haircuts, wrote & sent our Christmas letter/cards, and finished up some Christmas shopping. Mike went to the gym & piddled around the motorhome.
Went to some entertainment at the park – one was Johnny Bencomo, a great guitar player & singer. He performed old country (pre 1982) & is one of the few people that play an 18 string guitar. We really enjoyed the 3 hr performance.
Had our carpets cleaned so we are now all spruced up!
Met Ross on the 9th for a quick visit as he was passing through this area.
Checked out a couple of 55 + communities (always looking).
We leave tomorrow for Desert Hot Springs where we will store the motorhome while we are in Montana. We plan to fly to Great Falls on the 15th ~ providing United has some space for us!!!
