The last week in Palm Springs!

Mar 3 – Mar 9, Mon-Sun ... The weather is great here in the Palm Springs area town of Indio, Ca. We’ve pretty much just hung around the rv park for the most part. Dixie saw an orthopedic Dr. on Monday about her elbow and wrist. He confirmed that a bone in the elbow is broke & also requested an MRI. While at the Pomona rally, we decided to make a change to the interior of the motorhome. We’re having a desk and credenza made to replace one of our two sofas. Unfortunately, it was our nice leather sofa that had to go since the other one makes into a nice bed. We decided to make a flyer and post it around the park in hopes of selling it to a some fellow rv’ers. Within a half hour a couple came by and wanted to see it. They liked it but wanted to go measure their area to be sure it would fin. In the meantime, Dixie had an appointment to have the MRI done on her arm & wrist so we left to have that done. We didn’t get back home until late so we didn’t talk to the couple until the next day. They wanted the sofa so three of us began the task of getting it through the very narrow motorhome front door. I removed the screen door and a safety bar and we were able to squeeze it through. It was the same situation getting it into their motorhome but we got it done. The very nice couple who bought it is Gary and Carol from Yakama, Wa (Gary grew up in Montana). Jim & Diane, friends from Montana come over Sat. afternoon for Pizza & conversation! Danny & Lexi stopped by Sun. evening. Dixie returns to the Dr tomorrow and we head to Yuma, AZ on Tues.
