Our last week in the Havasu area!

Mar 9 - 14....We are currently in Las Vegas for a quick overnight trip. Mike had the enhancement on his Lasik eye surgery. Everything is good so far and he can see better already. He goes back in the morning for a quick checkup and then we will head back to Lake Havasu City. We are currently at Cattail Cove State Park, which is 15 miles south of Lake Havasu City. The park is right on the Colorado River and the view is beautiful as we are surround by the water and mountains (we hope to do some more hiking). We had a problem with our reservation at the park in Havasu so we had to find something else at the last minute. We lucked out finding the state park - everything was pretty full due to spring break which is a big thing in Havasu! We just have a few more days left in the area before we start heading east! We will miss seeing family as we have really enjoyed that over the past couple of months. Danny and Lexi (5yrs) came over from CA one last time this past weekend. The weather wasn't too great so we took Lexi to an inside aquatic center that had 'the wave'. Every half hour the water would have waves just like the ocean.....believe it or not, she just loved it. She would sit down in the water and let the waves carry her and even stuck her face down so the waves would hit her!!! She does love the water! Thats all for now, talk to you next week....
