Our new home!

Nov 4 - 13.... Yuma & Ramona, CA -- The remainder of our stay in the Yuma area consisted of another trip to Mexico, visiting some relatives and the purchase of our new motorhome! You would think we would be tired of 'moving'. It took us the better part of one day signing papers, completing a walk through and moving our 'stuff' from one to the other. Our new home it a bit larger - it has 3 slideouts and 3 more feet of space (most of all it has a larger refrigerator. and freezer). We are loving it so far! We made it to our next destination of Ramona Canyon RV Resort on Thursday which happened to be Mike's Birthday. This park is just 5 miles east of Ramona and about 55 miles north/east of San Diego. We spent Friday rearranging everything & getting acquainted with our new home! Dixie's brother and niece drove down from the Palm Springs area to overnight with us on Friday. On Saturday we all went to the San Diego Zoo Wild Animal Park which is just 18 miles north of Ramona. Don't think we have every seen so many animals in one place - the park spans1800 acres! On Tuesday we have tickets to go see the "Dr. Phil show" so we plan to head into the LA areas on Monday. Later in the week we hope to explore San Diego!
