More Fun in Montana!
Jul 1-10....Next stop was in Lakeside, MT which is on Flathead Lake. We met up with several of Dixie's family. Everyone brought their campers so we had fun going from "house to house". The 4th started by attending the big 4th of July Parade in Bigfork (it was big - it lasted for an hour). Then on to a picnic with family in Bigfork. Our next stop wasn't nearly so fun.....Mike was taken to the Kallispell Emergency Room by ambulance. While at the picneic he blackedout twice for what was later determined due to dehydration. Thanks goodness for Dixie's brother Doug who is an EMT and a relataive that's an RN. He eneded up spending the night as a guest in the Kalispell hospital with a heart monitor attached and for observation. He missed all the fireworks! Everything turned out fine and he is feeling well now - but it was pretty scary at the time! Once he was released on the 5th we left the Flathead/Glacier Park area and headed east. Dixie got a little "driving" time in that day. We spent the evening visiting friends in Inverness and then headed to Hogeland on the 6th. We are now parked in Dixie's parents yard - the "Hamilton Farm RV Park". It comes with full hookups, a "lawn" and a view for miles. You can't asked for much more. Oh, did I forget - the "price" is right too! We have no cell service as we are 12 miles from the Canadian Border with no cell towers in site! I will be adding a couple of photo's tomorrow of the farm. The weather is great here - they've been telling us it is humid (last check was 30%) that's a dry day in Houston!
