Back in Ohio in the motorhome
Aug 27-31....We made it back to Ohio and the motorhome on Monday. We arrived about 11p to find that we had no lights -- the coach batteries had died! The worst part was that the refrig. also quit working due to no battery power. We were thankful that we had used most everything out of the freezer so it wasn't too big of a mess! We threw out what was left and started over at the grocery store. On Tue. we moved to the next RV park, this one in Parkman, OH which is about 45 miles from Cleveland. The park is so, so but it does have a nice indoor pool. It has been rainy so haven't gotten out much. We don't have internet access on the computer here so we are currently at a library about 10 miles down the road. We will be at this park until next Tue. From here we will move on to PA.

More from Montana
Aug 12 - 26.....We managed to get in on a few days of harvest before it rained. Then we headed to Great Falls to Mom & Dads for the weekend. From there it was a drive to Seeley Lake to visit Aunt Shirley & Uncle Warren. We are now back on the farm for the weekend. The harvest is done so things are pretty quiet. We celebrated nephew Tyler's 9th Birthday (a week early) and got alot of 'playing time' with 2 year old Shay (need a vacation after keeping up with him). Levi & Tyler headed back to school Wed. so I guess that means that it's fall already. We head back to Great Falls on Sunday and fly back to Cleveland on Mon or Tues. We are anxious to make sure the motorhome survived the 3 week hiatus. We finally finished with our doctoring and dentisting - for now anyway! The next blog will be from Parkman, OH where we will be staying over Labor Day.

Vacation Time !!!
Aug 4 - 6....Drove to the Cleveland, OH area. Stayed for 2 nights and then put the motorhome in storage.
Aug 7 - 9....Flew out of CLE headed for Houston. Of course flights were all full so we ended up having to fly to Miami and then to Houston - another all day affair. We stayed at a hotel in Houston near the medical center area as Mike had Dr. appts on Tue & Wed. We had dinner with friends on Mon & Tue night and once again enjoyed our stay. Flew from Houston to Minneapolis and on to Great Falls, MT on Wed.
Aug 9 - 11...Overnighted in Great Falls with Mom & Dad then we all came to Hogeland to help with the harvest and visit the family! We will be in Montana until Aug 29th so there won't be much on the blog for the next couple of weeks. No pictures as I can't access the program from our laptop (no internet service)!

Western New York
Little tardy with the blog & photos! We have been having problems with our computer as well as the internet program that we use to put photos on the blog.
Jul 28 -- We really enjoyed Cooperstown. The Baseball Hall of Fame was great. We spent over 2 hours taking it all in. It just happened to be inductee weekend so there were lots of people in town. Several past players were there signing autographs. The countryside was very pretty - lots of farms and very hilly.
Jul 29 -- Drove into Amsterdam to make stops at Camping World and Walmart!
Jul 30 -- Moved to the Niagrara Falls area. Staying at Niagara Lazy Lakes Campground near Lockport which is very nice . It has been extremely hot and our AC and Refrigerator haven’t been able to keep up. There was a power outage at the park for an hour or so on the hottest day.
Jul 31 -- Drove into the Buffalo area.
Aug 1 -- Went to Niagara Falls in the evening to see the falls from Goat Island . Then drove to the Canadian side ! We rode the elevator to the top of the Skylon Tower to view the falls after dark. They look quite different when they are illuminated . The falls are quite an amazing site.
Aug 2 -- Went to Lockport to go on a 2 hour cruise on the Erie Canal where we went through the last 2 Locks (34 & 35) of the canal. It was amazing to actually experience how the locks work by actually going through them in a small boat. We went up the canal and then back down so we experienced both the raising of he water & in letting out.
Aug 3 -- Took a drive along the Lake Ontario shore. The lake is just a few miles north of the park. There are many, many produce & fruit farms in this area. We have never seen so many corn fields before!
